“Voices from the Sea” is a three-part music series running from February to April, showcasing Puglian singer-songwriters against the stunning backdrop of Brindisi’s seafront. A captivating fusion of wine and music, offering a fresh and immersive experience in the world of songwriting.
The first event, on the most romantic night of the year, features “Amore d’Autore”, a live performance by Paola Petrosillo & Camillo Pace.
🎶 AMORE D’AUTORE is a heartfelt tribute to love in its countless and ineffable nuances. Blending original compositions with iconic Italian songwriting, Brindisi-born artist Paola Petrosillo (vocals & guitar) takes the audience on a delicate and profound musical journey, accompanied by double bassist Camillo Pace, a longtime stage collaborator.
🎤 About the Artists
Paola Petrosillo is a singer-songwriter from Brindisi and an interpreter of traditional music. She was a longtime collaborator with the ensemble ENCARDìA, promoting the fusion of Greek and Salentine folk music in both Greece and Italy. After two acclaimed albums with esteemed Puglian musicians (MARinARIA – 2011; LA CAROVANA DELLE MERENDE – 2017), she returns to the music scene in October 2024 with her solo album “ROSE DI ME” (Desuonatori-NOS Records), produced and arranged by Valerio Daniele (Rota Prize 2023).
Camillo Pace is a jazz double bassist and composer, holding a degree in jazz music from the Niccolò Piccinni Conservatory in Bari. His career spans across various genres, from jazz and pop to folk and singer-songwriter music. He has collaborated with renowned artists including Marco Tamburini, Bobby McFerrin, Paolo Fresu, Ornella Vanoni, Lucio Dalla, Ron, Gregory Porter, Eugenio Bennato, and the Orchestra della Magna Grecia, among many others.
